I don’t actually have a WIP for it yet, but…. since I’ve had a couple people ask me about the group pic, here’s what’s going down:

While I had planned to draw this thing in March, I made some generous promises as to when things would be done, both on individual commissions and this group pic. I know that $45 is no small amount of money, even in a group picture, but singular commissions were getting priority.  I still have a very large queue (which is a good thing, means people are buying stuff from me), and I don’t forsee that changing anytime soon. However, the group pic IS in the queue. I can’t sit down and work on it all from start to finish, as it is a very large amount of work, but I have been making time for it off and on between other work.

I’ve got a rough sketch with the placements of the characters pretty much where I want them. There’s a couple that I’m not completely happy with the pose and interaction, so I’ll need to move them around a bit.

I’ve put a due date for the project in my queue, but it probably won’t be done by then. Keep in mind that this is a long term project, and with weekend work, I only have three days a week to work on my queue. If there’s a significant update on the project, emails will be sent out to participants with WIP shots.

I will be attending both Elliot’s Spring Gathering and Megaplex this year. It will be my first time at Elliot’s, so I’ll be going mainly to have fun and enjoy the events. I may make sketches or quickie commissions available (if you can find me :V).  For Megaplex, I’ll have a dealers table with stuff like prints and portfolios, and commissions.
